			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><code>UN , New York; DSSG Envoy; Volodymyr Pekarchuk met with Chistelle Loupforest External Relations and Partnerships Section of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs at the United Nations</code></p>
<p>Among the main concerns of the Society is ensuring the usefulness and timeliness of humanitarian aid delivery. At both the global and local levels, DSSG members desires to work with aid donors and recipients towards these ends. In particular, the Society supports the works of the UN White Helmets framework.</p>

<p>At the invitation of the Philippines Mission the Diplomatic Society of St Gabriel presented  to the Multi-<span class="squiggly" title="To see spelling suggestions, click this word">Sectorial</span> Consultation on the Geneva Declaration on  Armed Violence and Development. (<span class="squiggly" title="To see spelling suggestions, click this word">GDAVD</span>) and related disarmament, development, and humanitarian initiatives.  The <span class="squiggly" title="To see spelling suggestions, click this word">DSSG</span> focused on how Honorary Consulates, the Private Sector, and Civil Society  could assist in the Asian / Pacific Basin.</p>
