Commercial development can be viewed as a humanitarian project. With proper development new business provides new jobs, which provides new job skills and of course salaries. Another factor is the education that new work provides new skills and abilities that can be marketed by the individual worker to employers in the future, a work history. Even very simple jobs such as hotel maid, factory worker, assembler, fast food cook, etc.

The social positive development include the workers new found pride in himself or herself. The ability to keep families together and a reduction in out migration from the nation. Unfortunately with immigration, individuals and families, in time, lose contact and connection with their home country. Of course remittances can help a nation’s economics, however a long term view should consider that these will disappear with retirement of the first generation to leave.

DSSG maintains representatives in the United Nations communities in New York, Washington DC ,The Hague, Brussels, Geneva ,Rome, Manila, Bangkok, West Africa and Seattle. I maintain contacts within the World Trade Organization, World Economic Forum, Trilateral Commission, and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.

We are also listed as an NGO with European center for conflict prevention ,European Commission, World Trade Organization, UN EP., UNESCO, UNPAN,the 2p.org Responsibility To Protect organization,The Committee for an International Criminal Court

Encouraging direct foreign investment. deals with many sectors of the economy and is familiar with business and financial environment.
We activity seek out trade / business opportunities and the interrelationship between marketing channels with a thorough knowledge of your products and producers.We work directly with chamber of commerce, Consuls, commercial counselors and trade promotion organizations.
We also help overseas national communities organize remittance , aid and direct investment programs in their homeland.

Also during this period
The Society has added represenatives with websites at the Hague,
Brussels,Washington, DC, Latin America, Africa as well as existing representatives in the United Nations communities in New York, Geneva and Bangkok.
Anton Lutter , DSSG representative to the Netherlands attended
meetings with the German and Dutch Foreign Ministers and the Chairman of the Interamerican Drug Abuse Organization.
Ambassador Jesus Domingo attended the meeting of the Royal Brotherhood of St Michael of the Wing est. 1140 A.D.

From February  23 to March 5, 2011

The DSSG took part in a extensive mission to the Philippines.
Amb. William Weiss, Amb. Jesus Domingo and our man on the ground
Comm. Ramon Moreno took part in most of the meetings.

Our first meeting was with H.E. Ambassador Benjamin B.Domingo,
frm Undersecretary of State who heads the Diplomatic Society of
St Gabriel. Ambassador Domingo also serves as Dean of the Manila Law
College the oldest law college in the Philippines established in 1899.

That afternoon we Comm. Moreno and myself visited San Sebastian Catherdral
a magnificent gothic Cathedral built at the turn of the century
which is badly in need of repair and we agreed to take the advocacy
of this repair as a project of the DSSG. We also visited Jose Reyes
Government hospital and agreed to help advocate for medical aid relief.

The same afternoon we were blessed with a private meeting with Cardinal
Rosales. The Cardinal took great interest in the Society and asked
to have his photo taken wearing our decoration. The Cardinal personally
asked us to take on interfaith peace efforts between Christians
and Muslims. We agreed that this would be a nobel effort for us to undertake.

Also while in Manila we had group meeting with the UN Food
and Agriculture Organization and the World Health Organization. Both
meetings took place at UN headquarters in Manila.

Separate meetings also took place with the Philippine Department of
Foreign Affairs, The European Chamber of Commerce, The Federation of
Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

After Manila the group departed for Davao in the region of Mindanao
where we met with the Mayor of Davao and held a local press conference
at the emergency management center.
